Performance

Not a lot to love about this one. "Mofo" got the show off to a GREAT start, and every performance afterward was completely lackluster. "Miami" was a joke (and I even sometimes enjoy that song), "Bullet' was uninspired, and Bono ends "With or Without You" with, "You guys can stop playing if you want." as the backing track continues to roll, and Edge continues to play gently along with it after the song is over. Instead of letting the song peter out and fade away, he decides to be obnoxious. Not my favorite.

Sound

Leaves much to be desired as well, but pretty standard for the PopMart tour, really. Not a lot to moan and groan about here, just a standard 3-star recording. Bass sounds nice.

Audience

Great considering the band was a little off. They went nuts when the main riff of "Bullet" came through, probably since coming off of "Miami" they had no idea what was going on when Edge ripped into the first note. That was cool to hear despite the not-so-hot performance.

Overall

I just really didn't enjoy this show. I originally rated this a 2.5, because I knew I'd never revisit it again, but after re-checking the setlist, I remember why I decided to download in the first place- full performances of "Do You Feel Loved" and "If God Will Send His Angels", which were in fact both highlights of this show. If you're into those songs, give them a chance on this bootleg to hear what they sounded like since they both sort of "died young". Nothing else on this bootleg is worth much.
