Overall:
Not the best broadcast I've ever heard, but the band is rockin' and Bono's having a great time in the rain.

Performance:
The Band is awesome. Bono's voice is great, way better than earlier this tour. Edge rocks and Adam and Larry are always good. Mofo/I will Follow is awesome, maybe the best Mofo ever. All songs till New Year's Day are played brilliant. I really don't like Pride, ISHFWILF and AIWIY, but I didn't liked them the entire tour. Edge does a great karaoke of Singing In The Rain and THE highlight of the show is Miami-BTBS-Please-Streets. Miami is hard, Bullet even harder. Please and Streets are always nice and the main set ends with a nice snippet of Playboy Mansion. Another real highlight is Discotheque-Whole Lotta Love-Velvet Dress. The snippet of WLL makes Discotheque 'complete'. I always felt that Discotheque missed somehing, but now I know that it missed this snippet! Best PopMart performance.
Audience:
They're great, but I heard better.
Sound:
Radio broadcast
Overall:
Worth a listen just for Miami.

Performance:
This is one of those gigs I can listen all over again and again. It's one of the magical nights during the Popmart days. Best band performance of the band on this tour. That encore is certainly one of the best they ever performed. And then the closing Rain, what a stunner.
Audience:
Can't hear them too much, but it's likely they enjoyed themselves at this phenomenal gig, even in the rain.
Sound:
Easily 5 stars, it's a FM broadcast.
Overall:
It's a 5 stars because 6 isn't possible. I just love this concert. Bono's voice is decent here, and the band is on fire. Fantastic perfromances of Mofo, Still Haven't Found, Staring At The Sun, Miami, another great performance of Please and Streets.
And then the encore..download it just for this encore. PopMart at its best. Besides Sarajevo and Santiago a real must-have. Pump it up, George!

Performance:
pretty much faultless. er... if i HAD to pick some faults... - edge's guitar briefly goes slightly out of tune (i think?) near the end of One and bono's voice goes slightly out on the last line of Please...?
honestly cannot think of any other faults with this performance!
the band are on ABSOLUTE top form and that is all i can say....
for a popmart show bono's voice was absolutely as good as it ever got - just listen to new years day - it's almost like the 80's again!
Audience:
on the FM radio broadcast 5 stars - on the audience recording 3 stars (maybe the taper was standing somewhere strange?)
Sound:
download the FM radio broadcast - although the audience version is as good as an audience recording could get, the broadcast version just has such a massive, full sound to it. this is the best sounding popmart show i have ever heard.
the ONLY bad point to the radio broadcast is where the french voiceover has been edited out. in most places it isn't a problem and has been expertly edited but in songs like gone, pride and streets where the frenchies decided for some reason to speak just as the song kicks in, it is a bit irritating - but whoever edited it has done the best job anyone could possibly do under the circumstances.
Overall:
absolutely the best popmart gig in my opinion - there are a couple of other shows that might be considered equally as good but we've all seen/heard mexico 1000's of times and the other well known highlights from the final shows of the tour and of course sarajevo which were all great but this gig just has something else about it for me. the band seems to be relaxed but at the same time on TOP form, and refreshingly there are no serious moments, not even from bono who just seems to be having a great time.
every song is awesome but the (many) highlights are"
mofo-i will follow are the best you will ever hear them bar none, new years day is as good as it ever got in 97, miami-bullet will blow your face off (i have never heard a more brutal sounding first few bars of bullet). please is intense, discotheque with its whole lotta' love outro is my favourite version of this song ever, velvet dress has the extra verse, HMTMKMKM is perfect, mysterious ways is also my favourite version ever - the george harrison outro just works SO well!! and the the closing cover of rain is the icing on the cake.
if you're a fan of the popmart era this has to be in your top 3 MUST HAVE shows! you will listen to it over and over again

Performance:
As usual on PopMart, great performance. Best MOFO around. And the closing with Rain is perfect.
Audience:
Good audience, can hear them very well. They seemed to love this concert.
Sound:
4.5 stars because Mysterious Ways seems like coming from another source. You can hear some clapping and it looks like an audience recording. It's not bad, it still has a 3.5 star sound, but it's weird since the rest of the bootleg is ok.
Overall:
Highlighs: MOFO, Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me, Edge's karaoke (always funny), Even Better Than the Real Thing, Last Night on Earth, Rain, Discohèque, Where the Streets Have No Name and With or Without You (this one is particulary beautiful, had the Shine Like Stars snippet been used it could be its best version.)
Lowlights: Nothing really, Mysterious is good (not great as on ZooTV) and the lowlight is really its sound, not the song itself.

Performance:
The band sound great,as does Bonos voice.
Audience:
The broadcast kind of takes the audience sound out...but Im sure they were into it.
Sound:
As with most radio broadcasts the sound is fantastic. The only negative is Mysterious Ways. The sound is way off..I guess this song was not a part of the broadcast.
Overall:
Highlights :Show is great..I love the Singing In The Rain tune Edge sings.MOFO great version.Miami is great..they didnt play this song enough on this tour. The Pop songs sound much better live as a whole..I even like the version Discotheque here..and I hate that song....One/Rain fantastic ........Lowlights:Sound of Mysterious Ways Anyway..great show thanks

Performance:
Edge seems to be on absolutely top form, Bono his usual blabbering self, especially when signing off after Rain "Thanks for coming...now fuck off"! I think the rain may have had something to do with it.
Audience:

Sound:
Fabulous sound, great mix of audience / music.
Overall:
A pretty good Popmart show, but put it into the context of other tours and it doesn't come on the scale of the magnificent. Well worth a listen though.

Performance:
Great concert! It really captures the spirit of Popmart, Bono jokes around throughout the show which I think fits the mood of the tour. The band plays fantastic, Bono's voice sounds great. They play with a lot of energy and are clearly having a good time. This concert really made me smile, a great example of why I love U2. They are at their best here. Stand-out performances of 'Miami,' 'Please,' 'Streets,' 'Discotheque,' 'Rain' is AMAZING!!!!!!! I had heard them play snippets of it before but hearing them play the whole thing was awesome and they played it great! I am not usually a huge fan of covers, and I have heard enough bad Beatles covers to make me wary of them, but of course U2 did a great job and Bono does an impressive job singing like John Lennon, which was very endearing.
Audience:
The audience was totally into it, there was great energy.
Sound:
Radio broadcast so really good
Overall:
'Rain' and 'Miami' were definite highlights as I have not heard other full performances of them. 'Miami' was really bad ass, all the other Popmart bootlegs I have are from after they dropped from the set list, so hearing it live and played so well was really cool especially the way it runs into Bullet the Blue Sky, Please, and Streets which all sound great. The songs from Pop translated great live once the band got into the groove of playing them, so they sound great in this concert too. All around great show!

Performance:
The band really perform a great show. The Edge's guitar playing is excellent. Adam Clayton's bass playing is exhilarating, as ever. Larry's drums stand out. Bono's usual snippets every 3 or 4 songs are included indefinately. 5 star performance, no doubt.
Audience:
Could have been a bit more excited.
Sound:
The sound is almost upto proper standards. Because it's from TV / Radio, that makes it better. Great sound, almost perfect.
Overall:
Highlights: Miami (never liked it before), Until The End of the World, Last Night on Earth, If You Wear That Velvet Dress, Bono's Whole Lotta Love snippet, New Year's Day, One, Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, Mysterious Ways, Pride and Edge's Karoake.
Lows: With or Without (Bono a bit lost there)
