Performance

Band left behind all the bad nights in Popmart and gave one hell of a show.

Sound

Very good sound, with the audience upfront. My kind of bootleg.
Recording: Audience microphone - 4 stars

Audience

Some loud motherf***! I meant that as a compliment. Man, they were loud that night. I Will Follow, Pride and NYD sound fantastic with that crowd.

Overall

A hidden gem. Don't know why this bootleg is not as well-known as Leeds or Sarajevo. We have a great, relaxed performance by the band with a crowd that never stopped clapping and singing, together with very good sound. What else can you ask for?
Bono was very talkative in French (even Edge said "Liberté, Egalité, Karaoké!", which was hilarious) and the band just gave everything they had and a little extra in the songs. Highlights: Mofo, Last Night On Earth, Pride, AIWIY/Bad medley, Discotheque (Bono was great with the disco snippets), WOWY (great crowd) and Mysterious Ways. Even the Karaoke was different with Born To Be Wild (only 3 times played). The concert ends with a sweet MLK dedicated to Lady Di. Bono changed the lyrics so that it ends with "rain down on she".
If you like the Pop era, you must get this.
