Performance:
Was an electric show. WE followed U2 from the time they flew in at Albany Airport on their Elevation Jet. Then we followed them in their limo over to the arena. After that we parted ways and then a couple hours later, went to the show. Bono's voice was shot from some flu or some such thing, and he asked us to help him sing, and we did. It lifted his spirits so much that he would later comment on the DVD Release of this tour, (from Boston), about our show from 2 nights previous. All I know is I had a great time and will never forget it. And though his voice wasn't the best the instruments were played all top notch.

Excited and glad they came to town. We were at this show, and the crowd on the bootleg is as enthusiastic as I can recall it.

The recording posted on this site is not bad. Bono's voice recording is a little muffled (tin canned sometimes), but his voice wasn't that good that night anyway. Drums are a little tinny too, much like you find on many bootlegs. Bass is almost non existant in this recording, but the Edge's guitar seems to stand out the best here. He is bright and ripping through many of the tracks!
Overall:
Overall, the kind of show you'll remember. If you were there. If you weren't, you missed a good one. We lifted his spirits when he was down. And like he said before the song "kite", ..."the show is yours to carry...", And isn't that what friends are supposed to do.
