My second recording made from a seat since i recorded Antwerp 2001, very sad that there is no
dead-center in this U2-setup. I had company from an old man next to me on the left with a bit too loud
handclap, could not ask him anything during the recording. The man on the right saw me installing my
gear and he did got it to keep it a bit quiet the whole concert. I told him what my nickname was
from the previous recordings and he recognised it directly, I'm getting famous.

By some moments i had to take the okm-mikes out of the ears to let them rest on my shoulders and
stereo-signal has some flux.

Performance

Band was in a great mood, following their day of fun and holidays in Amsterdam (pub-crawling, wow!). Lots of great talks and jokes by Bono and the performances were really great. The band enjoyed themselves so much, with my favourite moment being Adam and Bono playing towards each other on the e-stage. Then Adam couldn't easily get on his feet again which made both of them smile. Awesome to see! Two Hearts Beat As One alone makes this concerts worth it, what a surprise and what a great performance it was. Personally I'm not so fond of the encore but that's a personal preference.

Sound

Audience

Crowd was really into it. Of course it's always a matter of where you end up on the floor as well, but where I was all the folks were really enjoying themselves and didn't seem to much distracted. Had great fun with great people!

Overall

Overall an awesome show. Started queuing around noon, there were some 300 people there already. Great security folks got us smoothly inside where we positioned ourselves near the end of the e-stage, second row. The only minus for me was that the sound wasn't that good in the beginning, but at the end it got much better. Great spot, great fans, great songs, great band and a great venue. What more could I've asked for?
