Performance notes: Satellite Of Love covered by U2 for the first time since 10 December 1993, in tribute to Lou Reed. Like on ZooTV, it featured some recorded vocals from Reed and footage of him on the big screens. Mother And Child Reunion was performed with a guest appearance by Paul Simon. Before Elevation, Bono brought on stage the woman who called 911 after his bicycle accident in November 2014 and one of the firefighters who responded. The printed setlist gave I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For as the last song but One was performed instead.

Performance

Bono's voice was in great shape and The Edge played so many instruments flawlessly, the guitar, piano and keyboards. The whole band was on fire.

Overall

From the second Bono and the band took the stage they were on fire. It was as if they were playing their home town and for some of the band members it is/was. So many highlights: fan Mark alias U2BROTHR being pulled up on the e-stage, interviews with the fire fighters from Engine 44 The Fighting Irish and the lady who dialed 911 when Bono had his bike accident last year. Since she corrected Bono and insulted New York(ers) she was booed at by the crowd and Bono did not know what was happening for a second..and it was on Meerkat for everyone to see and hear.
Later on in the show fan Mason was pulled up at the main stage and walked a little round with Bono. Also Paul Simon joined the band on the stage for the duet Mother and Child. At the end the crowd sang ONE and Bono joined in later, this got me all choked up and was quite an emotional thing. All in all a memorable concert and evening.
