Performance

The band puts on a great show here. Bono's voice is a bit scratchy throughout the show but it doesn't hinder the songs for the most part. Adam, Larry, and The Edge perform every song near perfectly. Nothing here sounds bad at all. The only song missing from the setlist is A Day Without Me, everything else is here and it's really good! It's classic early U2.

Som

The recording sound quality is definitely among the best of the Boy Tour. All of the instuments and Bono can be distinguished from each other very clearly, and the audio doesn't have annoying white noise or muffling. The recording quality is comparable to the standards we'd expect from a live show from today. Had to dock points only because the second performance of The Ocean is missing. However, the "I'm Just Waking Up!" recording does have that performance along with numerous soundchecks of the show, so one can make a complete setlist.

Audiência

The audience is definitely there and they cheer after all the songs, but they aren't that enthusiatic. They aren't the worst on the Boy Tour but they could be much more into the show. Bono even tells them that the evening is up to the audience after Another Time, Another Place. They do pick it up by the end of the show.

Geral

The highlights are practically every song, but some of my favorites are the clear performance of Touch, the energetic Another Time, Another Place, Twilight with it's extra lyrics, and the second 11 O'Clock Tick Tock. Overall, this concert is definitely a must listen for any U2 fan. Amazing audio quality combined with a great performance makes this one absolutely worth your time!
