Performance:
Awesome. Actually a fairly early Joshua-show, but the band nails it. Great performances of Bad, WOWY and especially Mothers of the Disappeared. Brilliant!
Audience:
Good enough, can be better though.
Sound:
THE best sounding boot of this tour, without a doubt.
Overall:
Must have for sure. This sound together with this performance makes it brilliant.

Performance:
I love this concert! U2 really pull it all out, Bono have some great vocal performances,it's just perfect. And a extra pluss because I had my first birthday this day, I was 1 year when they played this concert!
Audience:
Like Bono says, they are dancing to a U2-song! Not that usual! The audience are incredible! I'm from Norway, and we usual have a crappy audience.. So this is really something!
Sound:
Incredible good sound when you have in mind that it's from the 80's. Not to much audience sound, but enough so that you hear when they sing along, and the band-sound is just how it should be on a bootleg.
Overall:
An incredible performance, with a sound as close to a pro as you get it!

Performance:
Amazing! At that time I had just started to hear the band over and over, it became a real passion. And this bootleg just reminded me of that time. The quality sounds incredible and the band was at the better moment in inspiration and performance for that tour.
Audience:
There are no other way to express how the audience could feel about the band and the music. Amazing!
Sound:
Incredible
Overall:
Simply amazing. Any fan must hear this!!!

Performance:
Top notch. This is one of the shows I really love from this tour, a tour which isn't among my favourites. No lowlight, everything is just soo fitting.. Mothers Of The Disappeared, wow...JT at its very best.
Audience:
Great, but not exceptional. And a guy who whistles when they play Springhill Mining Disaster
Sound:
Ever heard a sound much clearer?
Overall:
Just pure brilliance. Highlights are Mothers, Springhill, Streets, With Or Without You, Exit, Gloria, 40..well, the whole show is a highlight itself. I fully understand why this is one of the most popular boots of all time. Among with Brussels the best boot of the tour.

Performance:
A native of Chicago by then well into U2, I was crushed when tickets for this show were gone within minutes. Unlike tour stops in New York and Los Angeles, there was but a single show scheduled for Chicago on the first leg of the ‘Joshua Tree’ tour.
The disappointment ran deep. Still does. You have only to listen to know the reason.
U2 may have played better shows, but I haven’t heard them. This is magnificent. ‘The Joshua Tree’ was a leap into the stratosphere for U2, both commercially and artistically. The band is clearly feeling it here, even if it does take four or five songs for them to hit their stride.
The confluence of three elements (an early-tour show, a U2 stronghold and a career-defining album) is intoxicating. Definitely not to be used while operating heavy machinery. Both audience and band are over the moon. Bono’s singing is charged. The band smolders. And this recording gives you every soulful second.
The disappointment is still there. But thanks to U2 Start.com, it’s just half of a two-sided coin now. While it’s sobering to know what a great show I missed, it’s equally heartening to at least hear what transpired that spring night twenty-two years ago.
My thanks to all involved.

To put it as simply as possible, this is a must-have for any U2 fan. One of the very, very best of the hundreds and hundreds of shows available here.

Performance:
After a bit of an adrenaline-driven speedy intro that Larry steadily reigns in prior to the start of the first verse, they were tight and electric. I Will Follow felt like Red Rocks...
Outstanding.
Audience:
Low in the mix, but it's Chicago. They definitely have a presence that breaks through in all the right moments ("bells" breakdown of I Will Follow). The mix of the band is so great... very happy that it didn't get overwhelmed by crowd noise.
Sound:
Outstanding. For 1987 this is one hell of a mix.
Overall:
I'm from Chicago so I'm biased, but definitely as good as any on this tour.
MUST OWN.

Performance:
Absolutely excellent performance by the boys. Alot of Joshua Tree material gets played brilliantly in this show - such as 'Trip Through Your Wires', 'In God's Country' and 'Mothers of the Disappeared'. This is possibly one of the best Joshua Tree Tour performances, maybe even THE best out of them all.
Audience:
Top notch, nuff said.
Sound:
Excellent.
Overall:
A bootleg I suggest you download, listen, relax and enjoy. You will definately give this all 5-stars in the end. Great listen.
