setlist

Performance notes: Live debuts of Hawkmoon 269, Desire, All I Want Is You, and God Part II. Hawkmoon 269 is considerably different to the studio version: although the song is shorter overall, its intro is extended and features beautiful and ethereal guitar work by The Edge. Its seven future performances are done in the same style.

Performance

First night of the Lovetown Tour and the band sound in top form. A blistering start to the show, Hawkmoon > Desire > All Along The Watchtower. From then on, it's difficult to judge the flow of the show as the following songs are either cut or missing. However, Bono is in fine voice and The Edge is on fire

Sound

Very poor.
Recording: Audience microphone - 2 stars

Audience

Very difficult to make them out, but there are moments and they really do seem happy to have U2 back after a five year wait.

Overall

Bootleg is incomplete and many of the songs included are also incomplete. A shame, it does sound like it could've been really good show. Sound quality is very poor though and that will make it difficult to listen to again.

Highlights:
- All Along The Watchtower

Lowlights:
- Sound quality
- Incomplete
