Performance:
What a show. This is just plain awesome. The day after Christmas, U2 came out and put on ONE HELL of a good concert. Opening with God Part II was a very good idea, as the song sounds great and has so much raw energy and power. Bono sings faithfully and passionately the words and Larry pounds out the beats and fills with vigor. Adam grooves along just right to Larry's attacks and Edge adds more to the guitar part with a somewhat extended solo. No doubt for me one of the better moments of this show.
Next we come to a fun and exciting performance of Desire. Moving down the setlist we come to an amazing version of Streets, and later an inspiring and heartfelt rendition of MLK and One Tree Hill. Another excellent highlight. Bullet the Blue Sky is also raging and passionate, the rhythm is loud and proncounced, Edge tears apart the sky with his blues metal and Bono screams his heart out, "One Hundred!," wonderful. Running To Stand Still is also breathtaking.
Now we get to the best part: With or Without You. Never will you hear a better performance of this song, EVER. Edge plays very passionately. Without him saying a word and by listening to the guitar in this song you can hear him belting out a cry of love. I love what Larry does here too; Yet another song where you can really feel something coming from his drums other than just sound (An amazing sound at that), those Yamahas never fail him. This is also one of Bono's best performances I have ever heard. He sings to angles and back, his voice lifts the crowd higher than heaven as they sing along with him, "Ohh, oh, oh, oh oooooooh," it brings chills to me. I can cry toward the end of the number when Bono exclaims "We'll shine like stars in a silver night, we'll shine like stars on a Christmas night..." Excellent musicianship, a simply beautiful performance. THE highlight of the show.
Audience:
Not much to say about the audience. For the most part, no one is a big interference. There is a very good mix of audience-music in the recording.
Sound:
Good overall. There are some chokes and tape scratches on a few songs (One notably on God Part II), but nothing that ruined the listening for me.
Overall:
Superb performances. Very good recording. Not much else to say. Download this bootleg and give it a good listen, you will not be disappointed. Highlighted songs:
God Part II
Where the Streets Have No Name
One Tree Hill
Desire
Bullet the Blue Sky
With Or Without You
Running to Stand Still
MLK

Performance:
I would give it 10 stars if they were there. Without any doubt: this is one of the best U2-gigs ever, maybe even the best. The band, playing on Boxing Day at the end of a special year, gave it all. Stunning performances of One Tree Hill, All I Want Is You, Streets, Angel of Harlem (with Elvis resurrected), 40, Gloria...I don't know where to end. Bono's voice is awesome, the band on top-form. Just brilliant.
Audience:
Playing in the smaller venues made Lovetown so special. Plus the addition of BB King's Orchestra, and the party started before it even began. The Irish crowd loved it, everyone loved it.
Sound:
You won't find much better.
Overall:
Awesome overall. Lovetown was a special tour, just about pure rock and joy. And they enjoyed it troughout. We still do know. U2 at its best.

Performance:
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. They nail simply EVERY single song on this one. The passion makes it their best concert of the LoveTown Dublin dates. The versions of Streets, With Or Without You, God Part II the very best around. The version of One Tree Hill is beyond words, you should get this show only for this performance. The band never sounded this good.
Audience:
Although you can't hear them too much due to the mix, you just feel their enthusiasm. They certainly lift the band up to unbelievable heights.
Sound:
Perfect mix. Fantastic clear sound.
Overall:
Download this one now. At the moment I think it's the best gig U2 ever did. Nothing can top this I guess. Stand-out highlights: One Tree Hill, All I Want Is You, Streets, Desire, With Or Without You, Running To Stand Still and 40. Uhm, I should mention the whole gig as a highlight. It's even better than the new year's eve concert.

Performance:
In my opinion, the all-time best U2 concert. The band was on fire this night, with Bono trying things with his voice I've never heard before or since.
Audience:
The hometown crowd is utterly awestruck and in love with the band. The fans' enthusiasm comes through in the recording, but as an enhancement, not a distraction.
Sound:
If this isn't soundboard, it's exceptionally close.
Overall:
The set flows from strength to strength, hitting an early peak with "Streets." This was, to the best of my knowledge, the first time Bono attempted a spoken-word intro to the song, as he'd use regularly on the 2001 tour. The effect is captivating. And when Larry's drums thunder in, it's stunning.
I've made copies of this show for probably 20 people over the years, most of them casual U2 fans. To a person, they've all said that the bootleg made them want to run out and buy the band's records, and see them in concert.
A must-hear.

Performance:
Just great! It's especially great since Bono had serious throat problems just 8 days earlier in Amsterdam. After he had to leave the stage early because he forced his voice during "God Pt. 2", he was ordered by a doctor to keep his mouth shut for at least a month. Thank goodness he didn't follow up that advice. But maybe that's the reason why they start off this show in Dublin with "God Pt.2" ?
This concert is indeed one of their best. Everything is perfect: music, vocals, the way they play these songs....everything.
Audience:
I envy the people who attended this evening.
Sound:
Perfect...one of the best around.
Overall:
Highlights: Desire, Streets, Still Haven't Found, One Tree Hill, and lots more.
And Pride is one of the best live versions ever!

Performance:
One of the best ever. The rested Bono sounds amazing! On the other Point Depot concerts his voice is not as good.
One Tree Hill is the best ever! Streets is a candidate to best performance of that song ever. And there are a lot of other songs that are candidates.
Audience:
Not heard much in the bootleg at all, but it sounds like they were amazing! But I'll only give them 4 stars, because in this recording, they're a bit hard to hear.
Sound:
Superb sound! Only setback is that the audience is not heard much at all, and there's a moment of interference in God Part II
Overall:
One of the best bootlegs ever, anyone with a brain needs to download!
Probably a candidate to best U2 concert of all time!
