Performance

This show is among the very best of my concert going history if not the best!! I slept out on the sidewalk the night before and received tickets that the band released the day of the show. This was my introduction to multiple stage setups (I know it's old hand to get creative with the stage these days but 20 years ago it wasn't); anyway I got tickets in the front row of the small stage where they played the short acoustic set - I was no more than 5' from any member of the band.
But I'm getting ahead of myself as the experience really began way before that. I was living in Brighton and took the green line to the Gahden and it was packed - the ride itself was a party but i will never forget the scene when we pulled into Causeway St. The elevated line was still there back then and there were people everywhere with banners and St Pat's gear; U2 gear and it was a blast. I could go on and on but I gotta split, perhaps I'll come back and elaborate. Wearing my Zoo TV concert T from the show today to commemorate! Yep I'm old now and not cool any more...
