Performance:
Pretty average performance. Some shows have that sparkle, that magic, that party-feel to it where everything just falls perfectly into place...in this show, all the pieces are present, and there are some really, really great performances, but overall, it is an averagely awesome ZooTV show.
Audience:
Camp Randall Stadium in Madison is where DCI (Drum Corp International) Finals are held every year, and that place can get LOUD- and it really does, during this show. The audience ate up every little bit of the show. Remarkable thing, which I didn't realize, is that the Outside Broadcast covered football stadiums in the USA too. I thought it was mainly ampitheaters. You learn something new every day.
Sound:
Incredible sound, can't even believe it's an audience recording- sounds like a soundboard with a great blend of audience.
Overall:
An enjoyable show, but nothing I'll probably ever revisit unless I'm making a Zoo compilation, and I want to pull a song or two from a random show such as this one, for the great sound.
Highlights:
-Sunday Bloody Sunday (funny, I usually hate the Zoo performances of this)
-Bullet the Blue Sky
-Until the End of the World
-Ultraviolet
-Edge's guitar work during the "Shine Like Stars" snippet in WOWY is literally breathtaking...I think my heart skipped a beat. Worth the download alone.
