1. There is a new You Too, you can vote for this new poll on the frontpage and discuss it in this thread.

The question of this new You Too is:

You Too: What in your opinion was the best leg of the ZooTV tour? (1992-1993)
    - Leg 1: North America (indoors)
    - Leg 2: Europe (indoors)
    - Leg 3: Outside Broadcast (outdoors)
    - Leg 4: Zooropa (outdoors with Zooropa)
    - Leg 5: Zoomerang / New Zooland / Japan (outdoors with Zooropa)

Please vote on the frontpage of the website, in this thread you can tell us why you voted for your answer.
Your vote is valued! Thank you!
  2. This is a harder question than it seems. Leg1 has the charm of the band trying to find the best versions of the songs (most notably on Wild Horses and Love is Blindness) and getting used to the stage innovations. Leg2 has some killer performances, some of the best in U2 history... Leg3 saw the first of Bono's alter ego. Leg4 brought the first Zooropa songs and saw the rise of MacPhisto. Leg5 is possibly the best musically. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

    I'm torn between legs 1 and 4, can't vote
  3. Great/tough question...I went with Leg 2 mainly because of the Stockholm and, to a lesser extent, Milan shows. WGRYWH was still regularly in the set. I attended a Leg 3 show (which I almost voted for) - you gotta love some of clips from the Outside Broadcast special(s)....and the DC bootleg is fantastic.

As much as I appreciate the Dublin and Sydney 1993 bootlegs, I still prefer as much AB as possible and I also liked the Mirrorball Man better than MacPhisto.

Damn, this question reawakens my intense need for a "proper" 1992 concert release. Lord how they screwed us back in 2011 with that AB reissue.

Yes, I'm still bitter about that one.
  4. Very tough question... For me is leg 2, leg 5 and leg 1 in this order

Leg 2 have awesome shows. Leg 5 have special songs and the leg 1 is the more AB song s versions

Edit: For me the worst leg is the 4. by far . (except the some shows but that leg needed more new songs )
  5. Are there any really good Leg 1 boots out there?? I tend to listen to one each from the other four legs but never bothered with any from that one.
  6. Vancouver.

The man knows what he's talking about (hey, new smileys!)

2nd leg may be the best "complete" leg ever (excluding mini-legs where they give 3 good shows and the leg is over!) in terms of consistent great shows with excellent crowds from start to finish. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the Zooropa/Zoomerang legs, but it was all about the songs.
  11. ^ yep! If leg 2 had featured Stay instead of When Love Comes To Town/Dancing Queen/whaetever, and Dirty Day instead of All I Want Is You as the lead up to Bullet, they would have been the ultimate Zoo shows.
