Our show of the month July took place after a stormy day in May 1997 in Washington. It was such a stormy day that the video screen sustained some damage, which led to areas of the screen being unusable during the show. This show is widely regarded as one of the best shows of the first Popmart leg. It also has one of the best versions of Staring At The Sun with a great extended outro. We have a great recording of this show for you to listen to!

We encourage you to listen to this show this month and write your own review, the more, the better. Enjoy!

  2. Popmart! Who knows if any of these Pop songs are going to be played in this tour folks, but in the meantime, enjoy this show. Washington went mad with Popmart. Guess with just some rehearsals Americans could enjoy Popmart just like anyone else.
The show is far from perfect, but it has very good versions of Mofo, Gone, ISHWILF, LNOE. I love the trio UTEOTW -> If God Will Send His Angels -> Staring At The Sun.
  3. Downloaded this today! Gonna hear later... A little sad that there isn't Do You Feel Loved buuuut
  4. I going to listen this again ! i dont listen a Pop leg 1 show for a while .
  5. My kind of bootleg... I'm not a huge fan of soundboard bootlegs, they too round for me, don't know how to explain but I like audiences like this one! Highlights are Gone, the trio Last Night On Earth, End Of The World, God Will Send His Angels and Hold Me
  6. Maybe the best performance of Staring at the Sun, this performance are in my playlist, later I will listen the whole concert and maybe do a review

  8. i was there!i thought the show was doomed from the massive storm the night before.to my surprise the sun came out.the weather was perfect and the show was great.loved staring at the sun and please.
  9. This is the only time i've heard Bono sing the "suit of lights" part of Gone the way he does in the studio version and i really like it. Does anyone know any other performances where he does this?
