1. Who is the walrus?
  2. According to recent findings, the most recent walrus was Margaret Thatcher, possessing the rank from 1967 - 2003.

Who else likes this thread a lot so far?

It really wasn't meant that serious - just as the "42" answer...c'mon...

I did not hurt your feelings, or did I?
    oh no not at all
  4. I have an important .....near to vital question ......

What is The Edge wearing polo trade ? the black one with stars and 74 on it !!!

    I love it !!!!!
  5. How's it going?
    How you doing?
    Are you feeling good tonight?
Do you mind if I ask questions?
Do you think it'd be alright?
  6. Well, there are many theories, but the most prominent one points to the great question of life, the universe, and everything as:

    "Pick a number, any number."
    "42"

Explanation: (w/ spoilers for whole series)
    Spoiler (click to toggle)
In the first book, Marvin the robot claims to know it, but no one ever asks him what it is. Later (in the 3rd book I think) he is talking with someone about how smart is he and how he knows the great question. During the conversation, he says, "Pick a number, any number."
    "9"
"Wrong. You see? I'm much smarter than you are."

So there you have it, the great question (although it's not a question, it's a command ) is:
    "Pick a number"

i sadly notice that "The hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" is not known as it should
bad times .. very bad hehe
I know this. But, as you should know, it was harder to know how is the question, not the answer, right? 42 is just the answer for life, universe and everything, but what is the question? And don't forget the towel

  8. What is the purpose of this?

I think there was also other matching question: How much is 7*6?
  10. I knew it too...thought it had a beard actually... (sorry)
And the whole point of "42" is to take things not too serious:
stuff like life, universe and what have you.
And some think to take things not serious at all.
Truth, however, will be somewhere in between.
But that is not funny... I'm serious, or am I not?

OK...and here is my question (serious serious):
Shall I start a "Confessionals" thread a la Zooropa?
