1. Hello everybody!

My name is John, I'm 26 and I'm from Switzerland.

I recently discovered this site while surfing the web looking for what fellow U2 fans thought of Edge's work on the Captive soundtrack (I know, probably not the most typical way people come across this site ). I found an old topic thread discussing the soundtrack and decided to check the rest of the site. I enjoyed browsing the forum and following what fans thought of the new i+e tour.

I've been a U2 fan since my early teens. Being the youngest of four brothers there were always albums lying around the house. One day I picked up some U2 albums and gave them a listen (Must have been in 2000 as I remember Beautiful Day being played on the radio a lot). I was instantly hooked and over time I've gone threw all of the albums, B-sides and rare songs (Don't you just love Womanfish ). I still remember when I was a kid coming across a VHS copy of Zoo TV Outside Broadcast and wondering what was I watching, yet loving it!

The first album I ever bought with my own money was HTDAAB in 2004.
The first time and only time I've seen U2 live so far was in Milan in 2009 during the 360 tour. Great memories and couldn't believe they were playing the Unforgettable Fire again! The Italian audience was great as always.

Looking forward to visiting the site in the future and discussing U2 with you!

Yeah it's just that I happened to hear Big Girls Are Best today and whenever I hear that song that part of the lyric gets stuck in my head for a while.
