1. Who's your favorite member of U2? Why?
  2. These days, I'd have to say Adam because he's just the King of Cool.
  3. +1. Also, because he went through a lot to be the man he is now. He has fought alcoholism, depression, failed relationships, etc. As a secular man, I identify a lot with Adam too.
He is a very reasonable, down to earth man, more coherent in his statements than Bono and as passionate as him.
Plus, he is the coolest man alive.
  4. Larry, a man of few words
  5. Larry is the man, wish I could be half he is
  6. Adam (for reasons stated above) or maybe The Edge (I appreciate his work ethic).

God love them but Larry often looks as if he full of contempt while Bono spouts out nonsense a little too often.

    Bingo!
  8. Bono for me. I admire his activism and social justice conscience, and especially as a Christian identify with and really respect the way his belief drives the way he lives, both in times of faith and doubt. I appreciate his lyrics that don't shy away from the ugly realities of the world and of the human heart, yet express hope in grace. So many great examples of Scripture-inspired lines all connected to trusting in faith, hope, and love in a broken world.

As one who's married to my high school sweetheart, who I've known since I was 16, I relate to his lifelong commitment to Ali, while at the same time having a certain similar wanderlust that just makes me wish sometimes that I could tour the world, do shows, and spend the nights having drinks with friends and celebrating life while recognizing its fleeting nature (Zoo TV and PopMart, especially!).

Also, I play guitar but probably more like Bono than like Edge.
  9. It's very hard to say that!!

I always prefer The Edge (probably musical reasons)... but since 360° Tour I'm also into Adam
  10. It's all about the hair, in my book.
Vertigo Hair was the death of Bono, and Adam's hair was pretty meh during 360 until the start of the I&E era.
  11. Bono. I look at him like some kind of God.
I don't appreciate the things he's done in the last 17 years, but for the rest he's still the kind of person I'd like to be someday.
I've been trying to get his ZooTV Sydney's haircut for years. As I got a little bit closer some years ago, I felt the happiest guy on Earth.
  12. Definitely Larry
