  1. I briefly brought this topic up in one of the general JT threads and someone had replied, and I realized this would be a fun game to swap answers to.

    In the span of one tour, what has been the biggest difference in setlists that you've seen?

    For example, you couldn't count a huge difference between shows on different tours, since of course they are playing different songs, and there is a new set of material to draw from...but to those who have seen more than one night per tour (even if they were on separate legs!) what were the two consecutive (for you) setlists that changed the most?

    Mine was easily from seeing the band on night two of the first US leg of 360 in 2009, and then seeing the show again in 2011 after Bono's surgery. Setlists below, new songs in bold.

    Note: Songs simply changing setlist positions shouldn't count for the purpose of the game

    I got 7 different songs in Brussels, also got 5 rotations the next night in Brussels 4 of which hadn't been played at Hampden either Bad, Angel Of Harlem, New Years Day, Hold Me,Thrill Me,Kiss Me,Kill me. Pride was the other rotation but was played at hampden.

    My 360 experience wasn't quite as fruitful, where the only variation I had over the two shows was in snippets and a Happy Birthday. It still annoys me to this day that the second Wembley show got UTEOTW instead of Elevation, Stay instead of Stuck, Bad instead of Mysterious Ways, and New Year's Day thrown in as a bonus.

  6. 360 did well in terms of variation (by U2 standards, anyway).

    I know it's still very early in the tour but a U2-22 would be really easy for them to make for the JT2017 tour.

  8. The 2009 and the 10/11 shows were miles apart. The further the tour got away from the NLOTH shows the more material was introduced to replace the album tracks. That tour lost its purpose very quickly. Great tour one the less.
