    One of my all time favorite songs.
    (Rainy night in Soho was fine, but Whole of the Moon gets me much more excited.)

  6. Fully agree! Almost wept tears of joy hearing that over the PA listening in on one of the mixlr streams when they first did it - it works sooo well, and it's a nice tip of the hat.

  10. And as if that was not great enough, Prince played his own version of this a few times, but doubt it was something he would have done a great job on, kind of like when Bono was onstage with Prince and garbled the lyrics to "The Cross."

    Wow, can't imagine Prince playing that. Definitely right on about Bono on 'The Cross', no doubt Bono was just winging it as he even often does on these things in typical Bono fashion, sometimes it's led to absolute greatness, but yeah sometimes not quite so great. Just thinking back to 1995 when Bono did that duet with Prince, and this is how I remember Bono & Edge from that period... a must watch to anyone who has never seen it...
