  1. Some people have expressed that one of their concerns with Songs Of Experience is the weird way the album flows at some points (specially considering the deluxe version with the extra songs). It's a recurrent problem with U2 albums -with albums in general I'd say- and it's easily solved by doing your own alternate tracklist and then burning it on CD, saving it on Spotify or whatever.

    My alternate tracklist:

    01 - Love Is All We Have Left
    02 - The Blackout
    03 - Lights Of Home (custom strings + album mix)
    04 - Get Out Of Your Own Way
    05 - American Soul
    06 - Red Flag Day
    07 - You're The Best Thing About Me
    08 - The Showman
    09 - Summer Of Love
    10 - Ordinary Love [extraordinary mix]
    11 - The Little Things That Give You Away
    12 - Landlady
    13 - Book Of Your Heart
    14 - 13
    15 - Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way

    It flows perfectly with no awkward positions like Landlady into The Blackout into Love Is Bigger or American Soul into Summer Of Love. The biggest pain in the arse was positioning The Best Thing, not only because it stands out as the worst song in the album for me, but also because it's in F# and that's an uncommon key for U2, so it didn't really fit anywhere. I finally put it between 2 other bright sounding songs and it finally flows properly. And of course Love Is Bigger had to be the closer.
