Something about 'not being able to connect to my local network for security reasons and something about an INPO I think. After 30 seconds the error message dissapears and my computer starts its setup but logs me on to a temporary user account from which I have no access to any of my files (including bootleg collection!). I shutdown and restarted the computer and same temporary account but no error message. All my physical memory is still stored on the Hard Drive but I still have no access to my files. Any thoughts??

Originally posted by drewhigginsMy guess is you're using Windows XP or Vista and that the local user account data has been corrupted. Home or Pro edition? If anything, it could require a low-level format, which you may have to restart your boots collection.
In Safe Mode, try using Administrator mode unless you put a password. You should be able to access everything there. What is the actual message, then I can help you.
