1. Which U2 song do you think would sound great unplugged and on acoustic that hasn't been done before that way?

I thought of the idea for the topic when I came across a few versions of Bad on Youtube. Very interesting...

    Hi friend
    How are you?

I was thinking and I should that Sunday Boody Sunday should be played at leat one time...and Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own too

    See you friend!!
  3. those amateur players trying bad? they sound great to me. A stripped down Kite would be nice (although i'd rather here the Sydney-esque version over an acoustic). Others i'd like to hear : Peace On Earth and A Sort Of Homecoming

Sunday Bloody Sunday has been done acoustically. The Popmart version and at some president Clinton thing (it was crap). Edge didn't play it right

I know but I mean with an acoustic guitar(like Stay in Boston DVD)...not only with the piano

the clinton one was with an acoustic guitar

  9. I disagree on ASH, it spower for me is in large part ots atmospherics.

Songs that would be/are great as acoustic...

    -Seconds
    -Drowning Man
    -Running to Stand Still
    -Promenade
    -Red Hill Mining Town
    -Tomorrow
    -Van Diemen's Land
    -Angel of Harlem
    -Love is Blindness
    -One
-Tryin to Throw Your Arms Around The World
-If God Will Send His Angels
    -Staring at the Sun
-Sometimes You Can't Make it on your Own
    -A Man and a Woman
    -In a Little While
    -Peace on Earth
    -Wild Honey

But the greatest of all acoustic version is Stay.

That is true of versions in the past but Bono can't sing like that no more. I think his voice would be more suited to an acoustic performance of the song.

Agree with God Will Send His Angels

    Didn't know about it!!
    Thank you very much friend!!
  12. Not sure if everyone is aware or not but there definitely is an acoustic version of Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own. The Acoustic Couch Mix. If you don't have it, I'd be happy to send it to you. Strange, though I thought this was a rather well known version...

And I think Pride and Where the Streets have No Name would sound fantastic with just guitars and vocals. Not the same energy as the full band performance for sure but it would be interesting i think...

Atleast it is in my head
