1. Hello to all,

Quick question, for the life of me I cannot find out the title and the artist of the song that was played before for most of the Vertigo tour. I happen to catch U2 in Honolulu and it was played there , can anyone give me a hand?

    Thanks,

    Floyd

This question is asked a lot. But it happens to be 'Wake Up' by The Arcade Fire and you hear Everyone.

How was the Honolulu show if you don't mind me asking?
  3. yeah spill the beans!!! XD
  4. Honolulu was, well Honolulu. 80 degrees in DECEMBER!!! Pearl Jam rocked and I even shared a beer with Alisa Milano. However, due to the fact that I was running a marathon the next day, I left after 5 songs. I downloaded the show so I feel like I was almost there for the whole show.

    Thanks for the info.

    Did you win the marathon?

    Greetings from Brazil friend!!
  7. wow i would NEVER LEAVE THE STADIUM!!!!
  8. After 6 months of training, a 3 hr bus ride from downtown to Aloha Stadium, and the fact that I had to be AWAKE at 2:30AM, I decided that it was in my best interest to get some sleep before the marathon. I highly recommend that if you run a marathon, make sure your favorite band is not playing the last show on their current tour!!!!! The lads didn't play "Until the end of the world" so in the end I would have been very bummed about that. Plus, I saw U2 and Pearl Jam in Honolulu!!!!!

    Thanks for the info y'all.

It must have been hard for you to walk away there But I agree about the marathon, you have trained a long time for it, it really would be a waste not completing the marathon. But it's also a bit of waste not completing a concert. But seeing Pearl Jam too isn't a waste
Anyway I do love marathon, I want to compete at one in the future. I'm curious about your time
  10. Hey.
That's cool that you ran in the marathon. I remember passing by some of the running paths and dealing with traffic in Waikiki.
Your right about the sleep part, U2 seemed to play for hours (almost three). By the time All I Want is You was performed people around me seemed to be pretty tired. I think I slept under ten hours that whole weekend. It was amazing, a trip of a lifetime!!! It didn't really matter how tired we were, we knew that moment would never pass again.
I have posted some pix of our trip, you can check them out at

Edit: I have much admiration for runners!!!!
