U2start.com | Avatar Advice? (colbourne25 need permission)

Hey all,

I'm looking to create a new avatar for my facebook.com account.

First of all, colbourne25, I don't know if you use facebook.com, but if you don't I would ask for permission to use your avatar from U2start to be a part of mine for facebook, only because they're SO ABSOLUTELY IDENTICAL I can't pass this up. If you DON'T want me to use this, just let me know, totally cool.

Assuming that's cool, here are 2 basic prototypes. Which would all of you guys prefer? Above and below or side by side? Post your thoughts below!

By the way, I was also going to put text above each of the 2 square-shaped photos.

Above Bono's picture I would type "YOU'RE THE REAL THING" in big bold letters
Above my picture I would type "EVEN BETTER THAN THE REAL THING"

PS: One caveat...

Facebook.com has an ABSOLUTE limit on how WIDE (left-to-right) your photo / avatar can be, but NO limit on HEIGHT (top-to-bottom)

SO, if I choose the longer top-bottom one, the overall photo will look MUCH BIGGER on my profile. Just another factor to keep in mind.

yeh you can use my avatar... thats no worries at all!!!

i think you should definitely put them side by side...

i'll be sure to post the final product in case you ever wanted to use it, or tweak it to your preferences.

...ie maybe there's no purpose for you to have my photo labelled "even better than..."

but maybe instead you could paste "Elevation" above Bono's pic and "Imitation" over mine or something.

i've decided that i'm gonna do it top-to-bottom, just because on my profile it will look SO much bigger.

here are the final four options. honestly, i already have a favorite that i'm 85% sure i'm gonna use, though i'd appreciate any and all input before i decide for sure (or before i even tell you which one i like best)! thanks so much!!

1) Do you have any other suggestions for text?
2) Which one evokes the most / strongest emotion in you? (ultimately what I'm going for)

when this is all said and done, by the way, i'm gonna post an image of my facebook profile here in the forum. i think you'll all appreciate it because 95% of it is U2 references that nobody on earth except you guys will ever understand!

hmm, such important decisions are on one's mind when he's about to turn 21, eh?

...and once again, colbourne25 if you want me to make a different image for you (with different text, whatever) just let me know buddy!

#3 should say "Give me one last chance" not "Give me one more chance."

i will correct it...

...haha i doubt anyone cares!
