I've been lurking on these forums and downloading the bootlegs for some time (cheers Remy), so it's about time I contributed something!
One of the things I love about U2 is the various phases going back through their catelogue. Sometimes I really get into the Boy album, other times it's the more recent stuff, and most recently it's been the Pop Album. Please has just lodged itself into my head, which is lucky...it's one of my favourites of all.
I came across what looked like a fairly rare version of Please on Youtube, probably rehersing for the VMA's in 97. It's ten minutes long, half with Bono and the rest with the band going through it one more time. I'm trying to find it again without luck, does anyone know of it? I also found the bootleg of the acoustic version of that song from the Miami Elevation.....just unreal.
