Ah bugger, forgot that small detail lol - Electric Co.
yeah keith moon got pissed off with roger daltrey back in the early who days (around 1965). then they became good buds through time. i really gotta stop with my who references, although what they said onstage is really funny.
''They've got Bat's,Ball's and pawncy shoe's on,
Make's going for a walk look like hard work,

When the Cricketer's came on Screen,
and also as ''The Fly'' start, kicks in (You know that Guitar plucking by The Edge)

Don't know if it's been said yet, but this one is either the dumbest thing i've heard Bono say, or the greatest thing I've ever heard him say.
Bono: So a guy comes up to me and says, hey mate how can you write a song about billy holiday i mean your irish what do you know about new york?
I said listen mate, the Irish BUILT New York, right?!
He said them sometimes at the beginning of Angel of Harlem on the Lovetown tour.
I still don't get "Look Edge, a beach ball" from Slane. What the hell is funny about that?
Well, they were supposed to play music, NOT to play football. Have you seen the Slane DVD? When Bono says that sentence, pay attention to Edge's expression... Priceless

I've watched it about million times...edit: I AM NOT LIKE HARRY
..fuck it, I have holidays, no school, no hard thinking
just found this quote:
"Thank God we aren't called the Red Hot Chilli Peppers"
- Bono's response at a show in Salt Lake city when fans had drew a 50ft 'U2' sign on the hills looking over the stadium (1997-05-03).

Oi, play fair, I have the Slane DVD!
I'm assuming you're aware of the events before the 2nd Slane show? i.e. they televised Ireland's qualification for the 2002 World Cup, Jason McAteer scoring the only goal against...Holland, I think? Hence the whole place was rocking before the first chords of Elevation kicked in, and I'm guessing that's what Bono was alluding to when he referred to the beachball

"Pop could have been a masterpiece. The songs are extraordinary. We just wore ourselves out and didn't quite finish them."
- Bono, 2001
