As a newbie to this website, I'm very intrigued by the amount of bootlegs that U2 fans have listened to, as well as immense passion that people have for certain shows and how they have very simple or complex reasons why they have a fondness for the show. Which led me to an idea. Every certain amount of time (maybe a week or two) a forum member will be invited or will volunteer, from experienced to newcomers, to pick a bootleg for other members of the forum to get a fresh listen or listen to for the first time. It can be any show from any era. Then at the end of the period we will meet on the forums for a group round table discussion about what we liked, what we disliked and what was truly special. We could also even help to find better bootlegs of shows that we enjoy.
I will be a moderator in the discussions, if anyone else wishes to be one as well just ask me and I'll see if we can make it happen. The moderators' duty is to keep the discussions from getting ugly or rude, as well as giving suggestions to people who liked a show or disliked a show to finding another strong one or one that is better.
Finally, there can be no repeaters unless the moderators allow it to be.
I hope that we can get together to make something special. So... are you in?
(If so, first bootleg show and date will be announced shortly)
Give us the show and date and we'll be ready for it. Don't make it some generic show like Germcevoy has said because that's boring. Something unique is the way to go.

some people have attacthments to shows that aren't soundboard. Whats the point in discussing Zooropa RDS or New Year's Eve if everything about those shows has been discussed?
