1. Mod....u don't like the tone of the message??????? The person is entitled to an opinion. Please don't act like you are above anyone.
  2. Oh shut up
  3. I am also entitled to an opinion then ain’t I?
  4. Wit all due respect, may I ask you where is any opinion in this sentence?: "I still can't view the photo's on the website. And can't preview the audio files. For weeks now, maybe months. I'm not planning for doing a donation to this website anymore if the site don't work properly. "
The person simply claims that U2start doesn't work properly for him, while by all signs the problem is on his side. In his very next post he claims being on U2Start for 10 years, yet his profile says he registered 3 months ago. Don't want to judge that, he might re-registered or used it as a guest, but still...
I can only speak for myself, but nobody likes to be acused of things he didn't cause, especially when somebody immediately points out that he takes money for that..
In spite of all that Remmy obviously tries to help as much as he can.
  5. Thanks all, but let's stick ontopic here. And that is, you all reporting things that are not working and us solving these

The site is still run by volunteers like myself and it will always costs more (in terms of time and money) than is earned. Which is fine and I do that with love for more than 10 years. Just report the issue and then we’ll help, the rest was not needed.

Plus, the site is not buggy. You seem to be the only one here with this problem (works fine for me), you really think we wouldn’t solve it if it wasn’t working for anyone?

That said I’m still more than happy to help.

Question 1: Can you tell me a bit about the device and browser you use for U2start, how old are they for instance and which version? (If you know)

Question 2: Does the problem also occur with a mobile connection (if you have one) or with another device or browser?

These 2 will help me locate the root of the issue you have and maybe we can do something based on that.

I'm sorry for my tone. That's me, I'm sorry for that. Also I don't speak English very well. But I have the feeling it has something to do with the avatar of Bono which I uploaded and the mods didn't like. And I removed it. The site isn't working properly since then. I'm browsing on my PC with Google Chrome.

Anyway I love your website and it always worked great.

Thanks Koos, no worries. Sorry for my harsh response.

It has nothing to do with that.

Does it work from a mobile device/connection? You have the ability to test that?

Thank you Remy. I will test it on my mobile phone. But I'll have to go to work this afternoon.
  9. There are the errors that I've seen:

When searching for the 1987-11-11 concert, it shows a random span tag.

Sometimes I get a SQLSTATE error when visiting the front page. This happens very rarely though. The screenshot was taken on 2018-02-18, so it might have been fixed for all I know.

The twitter link on https://u2start.com/downtime.html doesn't work.

The 2005-06-09 show in Brussels(https://u2start.com/shows/1330/) doesn't feature any setlist even though it's known. The show is also featured in the tour catalog even though it's just a rehearsal.

This is just small errors, but hopefully it helps

    Thanks!

    1) Fixed.
    2) Our downtime this morning fixed that.
    3) Will be fixed
    4) Thanks, that one should not be showing so I removed it for now.

It does not work with different browsers on my PC. It works on my phone. I don't want to accuse anyone. But a phone doesn't have an IP address. A phone has a Mac address. Only an internet router has a set IP address. Am I correct?

No you're not, every device connected to a network has an IP address and every network connected to the internet has a public IP address. But that doesn't matter much.

Your phone, is it connected via wifi or 3g/4g when you say it works?
