1-0, last couple of minutes..luckily they won. But, what's happening? The Dutch team used to be World Class, now they seem to struggle against this kind of opponents (I know, they are difficult to play against, but still)..Hope glory times will return soon.

Bloody England won 3-0,relying on a Welshman to score for'em.I can't stand that little Welsh prick........

Great result for Scotland beating France 1-0,my man McFadden scored again. Can't get in the Everton team but plays regular for the National team............

Very good performance from Scotland, was amazed with that result.
We played crap against Albania. Luckily we won...

I think Van Basten isn't the right coach for the Dutch team.

For gmc and any others interested in it, the cat is loads better and now has a stable pelvis. In addition a puppy has had a keyring removed from his stomach and a Collie has had a caesarian section with 4 live pups.

So, all in all a full day!!

Sadly, the good old days of Jackie Charlton are well gone for the Republic.I think if proof were needed that outstanding football players don't make excellent managers, you look no further than the Dutch...........Van Basten was without doubt one of the best ever for Holland as a striker & that awesome AC Milan side with Gullit and Rijkaard.

Yep, a good horse doesn't make a good horse rider. Though Rijkaard is a good coach nowadays (Barcelona), Gullit and van Basten are really not at this moment.

Cruyff was different, he was one of the most amazing football players ever and a fabulous coach, especially in Barcelona where he won everything year after year. Too bad he stopped coaching.

Quick quiz question..........What was different between Cruyff and the rest of his team-mates in the 1974 World Cup,not a trick,it's true trivia.

Plus, how did he get to wear the number 14 shirt ? And don't say."......he put it over his head.".
