what did you mean by Bono singing "Salvation Army Blues" then?

I think I will call Angel of Harlem that for a long time now

We've discussed this before - not sure if he's singing that. I think that's the official lyrics but isn't really what Edge sings.

It sounds like he’s singing that to me. It’s clearer live as well.

What's the original lyric from the studio?

  7. So where does 'Salvation Army Blues' register? I haven't lost it yet.
  8. Can anyone help?
  9. It’s definitely a misheard lyric u less you can provide an examples of Bono singing what you think he’s singing.
  10. I'm thinking he said 'Salvation Army Blues' at some point. I was hoping the U2START community would help.
  11. Sounds like a Mystery Angel of Harlem. Were there any spinnets?

Next up on Remy’s todo list actually is to listen to every bootleg ever and transcribe everything Bono sings or says. But it might take him a while to get round to when Angel of Harlem was released considering he’s going chronologically.
