Rosemont is very good, but the audio loudness sucks...I can play any bootleg at volume 12, this has to be played at volume 25 at my stereo.

Hi, you can use MP3Gain to increase the loudness of the Mp3 files.

thanks for the tip. Will this work on EU mp3 players which have volume restrictions. I shall try it regardless

Thanks indeed, I'll give it a try.
  9. One that seems to get overlooked alot that I think is a great performance, setlist and decent recording is May 8th, 1987 Hartford. Just a fantastic setlist.

I think April 29, 1987 Chicago is a good recording for that time. I think it gets a tad overrated though. Bono's vocals come across a little flat to me (like they are going through a tin can and then into the mic) and I think the bass fullness is slightly lacking. Still a good performance and recording though.

Quality wise the best recording is without a doubt Nov 7, 1987 Denver, the "Back In Denver" remaster of the "Caught in 45mm Black and White" bootleg. Its right from the master VHS and it is without a doubt the best remastering version anyone has done of that recording.
  10. I love the Brussels show. 1987-08-07. Only one and a half hours and a great crowd. Bono is well up for it during this show. Only flaw is that Pride is fecked up. Have to agree that quality wise the Denver show rules all.
  11. I'm really loving the Fort Worth show. 11-24-1987. And you can't forget about Rosemont or "Rock's Hottest Ticket".
