And not to mention the current and widespread issues of the 3G reception either.

HDMI cable came today for the PS3. Couldn't get the 37'' TV connected for some reason but I got it connected to the 26'' in the back room and the improvement has to be seen to be believed. I was stunned. Rattle and Hum Blu-Ray or pre-order please. . .

Need urgent help people! (Specially from you Drew )... how can I downlaod streaming videos with mms links? I got Internet Download Manager which supports them, but...
This is the link:
mms://media.iransima.ir/tv3/tv3_13870606_017.wmv

it's a 32 minute video. I can stream and watch it with media player, but I NEED to download it, and soon! When I try to download it with IDM, it downloads a 17kb file, saying it's a 3second video...and it isn't even that. How can I get the complete 32 minute video?

Not at this stage. These seem impossible to download - but nothing's ever impossible.

Out of curiosity, what "wonderment" did Dan let you know about? I'm not quite sure....

Edit: a few more apps to try. I've never downloaded an MMS link, so I'm not 100% sure. Quick search should find these ones.

I meant he just said that the old gang were wondering where I was...that's all.
I tried Net Transport, and it's the same...think it's virtually impossible then

Oh yeah, now I know. We've got heaps of new people here, you'll meet them soon....

What's the exact page you found the video link on? I can't quite read it.

Comcast Corp. said it plans to change its user agreement to place a monthly cap of 250 gigabytes on the amount of data its users can download and upload.

Philadelphia, Penn.-based Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA), the country's second-largest Internet service provider and a dominant Web player around Washington, said earlier that users who use too much monthly bandwidth will be cut off in an effort to keep things running smoothly for other subscribers.

Users who go over the 250 gigabyte limit will first get a warning call, and after a second offense will have their service suspended for a year.

The policy goes into effect Oct. 1.

Any thoughts? Sounds like a shitty idea, to me.
