    Vanavond heeft Erik de Zwart de nummer 1 van Veronica's Top 1000 Allertijden, editie 2007 bekend gemaakt. De klassieker 'One' van U2 is door de Radio Veronica-luisteraars gekozen als beste nummer aller tijden.

    Translate:

  3. in israel one was chosen as the best song of 90-2000.
  4. U2 had 3 songs in the top 35, the other ones were WOWY and Streets. Later this year, there is a Top2000, with One on number 5 last year. Queen with Bohemian Raphsody is the number one there.

    I don't think it's the better, but it's very popular; even people who actually doesnt like U2, do like One. It's a worlwide song, that's exactly what it is. But not U2's best.

    Exactly. It's a "Pop" song (popular), for casual fans. Dont misunderstand me, One is great, but it's like We Are The Champions for Queen or Whole Lotta Love for Led Zeppelin, if you know what I mean. Great songs, but people use to think they're the best of their groups.
