1. Again I'm really impressed with U2start!- when I first joined a few weeks ago, I opted to get news feeds from other U2 sites, so this item from atu2 popped up:

    http://www.atu2.com/news/article.src?ID=4832

Bono talking about the environment and conversations he's had with Al Gore.

When Live Earth happened back in July and U2 didn't play, I knew there must be something going on behind the scenes and that we'd hear about it sooner or later.

I also figured that Bono, shrewd and respectful 'diplomat' that he is, was probably delaying strong public association with Gore and this issue out of respect for the co-operation that bush has shown toward the ONE and DATA initiatives. It may be the one good thing that's come out of bush's presidency.

Now that the end is in sight for bush anyway, I'm glad to see Bono stepping back toward this topic- this essay is very interesting, just wanted to make sure everyone had the chance to see it. cheers-

  2. Nice stuff Jay

I hadn't read the article until you posted it. Makes for some good reading, and as an American your post makes for some good reading too. Excellent
  3. Thanks Dan,

One more thought- this is from Gore's website- about calculating Carbon Neutrality on a personal basis- it's been on my 'to do' list for a long time.
