I vote for this.

I remember something similar I did - not an album title, but a setlist - it had over 150 songs there.

That news could be 2 things again: the recording process sukcs, like Yeah more or less stated. Or Bono speaks the truth...I just don't know. Just wait and see...

And please stop the Coldplay discussion...

Perhaps it's gonna be a lengthy cover album, hence the 50-60 recordings and thus the lengthy wait we have, because they need to get all the copyrights sorted and to pick the best of the bunch lol.

There used to be a line about U2 releasing a cover of that song as a single in 2009 for a few weeks. Edited by now.

I've been a bit off the Forum for a while, but I joined this topic and read the 2009-news. Well, it sounds a bit like 1997 to me... They were supposed to release POP on Autumn 1996, then said Winter, and then March 1997. This sounds the same to me... I hope the result will be NOT another not-rehearsed tour

‘When we set out on this record it was Larry who came up with the plan not to have a plan. He put up this idea that wouldn’t it be great just to make music for its own sake, not for the purpose of a live show or on album but just to see what we’re capable of…’

Passengers: Part II

More like Zooropa in my opinion - Larry was never a big fan of Passengers, so I can't see him wanting to repeat such an experiment.
