  1. What do you think of "October" some say it's the weakest album some say not bad and others say it's one of the best

    I think that it's not that bad and it contains some good songs as:

    1-Gloria
    2-I Threw a Brick
    3-Scarlet
    4-Is That All?
    5-October

    And Other "Ok Songs" as:

    1-I fall down
    2-Fire
    3-rejoice
    4With A Shout

    And Don't like these songs:

    1-Tomorrow
    2-Stranger In Stranger land

    - Tomorrow
    - I Fall Down
    - October
    - I Threw A Brick Through A Window
    - Gloria

    Gloria, October and Tomorrow are my favourites..the rest ain't bad but it's decent.
  4. i think october is a fantastic album, it's the most underrate album of u2 (more than pop in my opinion). it's a pure rock album. i like the chain of "rejoice-fire-tomorrow". i fall down and gloria are also great tracks. it's a great album, and i think people tend to forget this masterpeice beauce there isn't a song that the band play regularly in their tours, i mean like "pride" from the UNF or NYD from war. my favourites from this album are rejice and fire, listen to larry's drumming in rejoice

  6. Gloria, Tomorrow (it's Tommorow or Tomorrow? I am confused) and October are the best of this album IMHO

    It can be a little repetitive - but hey, everyone's got their own opinions and I respect you enough to say what you think of certain songs.

    So what's your other favorites from other albums? You should fill in your profile as well so we know.
  9. I used to not really like the album, but with time I appreciated it more and more. The only song I still have "problems" with (= I usually skip it when I play it) is "Fire".
    ...I hope they'll play "With A Shout" and "October" at some concerts on the next tour...

  11. I only dislike Is That All?, though Fire is a little bit weak. Stranger in a Strange Land is my favorite from the album. The rest is rocking and awesome

    Same here. Stranger in a Strange Land is very underrated.
