1. ( sorry if my topic isn't in the right place I wasn't to shure of where to put it ^^)

My dad reseved a book not soo long ago, its the liste, by year, of 1000 album to have and listen.

    U2 has 4 reprensentents,

    War
    Achtung
    Joshua Three
    and;
All That you can't leave Behind

I was surprise to see Achtung baby in the list, its not a weel know U2 album like JT put still, they say its their all-time best.

    And I agree

Do you think these albums deserve to be in this list ?)

Yeah, I think they're onto something there. Granted, we could all make the case that each one of U2's albums belongs in the top 1000 of all time, but...I suppose we're biased.

The only thing I would add is that maybe they should have put Boy on the list instead of War. Don't get me wrong, War is an amazing album, but I think Boy deserves the spot more than War does.
  3. Three of those albums deserve to be there (classics). But one doesn't.

Actually I would be surprised not to see Achtung Baby on the list!!!
Perhaps JT is their best and most known album but AB is just behind

....I guess everybody will agree on this...

I certainly would walk on away from it. I've never found anything really great about it.

The book also says a few of Britney Spears' albums should be listened to before you die. Maybe after you die, but not before.

I would agree War, Achtung Baby and Joshua Tree should be listened to in their entirety.
  8. i agree with all of them, what about "The Unforgettable Fire", i think it should be there as well.

I'd agree with that. And Boy and Pop as well.
