RTSS! Good god...you people are blind!

Have to say though, if they work out a way of COBL into Streets, that would be it for me

It'll take pride of place just before the first encore - that's the traditional high spot in the performance reserved for the proven "energiser".

Do y'mean at the end of the main set lol? Or do you mean to open the first encore?

I think it would be cool as an encore opener, imagine - band goes off, people wonder "where was Streets in the main set?", and start thinking "wow, they haven't dropped it have they?!", and then the synth kicks in, and the whole goes mad.

That said, I still think God Part II should be the encore opener - how about a Lovetown revival?! (with WGRYWH thrown in for good measure...) It's time the whole world was exposed to the genius that was God Part II, Hawkmoon 269 et al.

Sorry I meant at the end of the main set. Having nothing in front of it takes away the energy. You need a good segue.

I'm more keen on a Popmart revival during the first encore .....but God Part II->Hawkmoon 269->full electric Desire has some appeal.

RTSS->Streets is the best song segue they've ever done for me - hands down. Please->Streets is a close second. Bad->40->I-forget-what-Psalm->Streets is a good concept, but the fact that Bono's voice was a joke on Elevation tour overall caused me to want to kill myself when I heard the "Wide Awake" lyrics on Bad, and thus I changed to a different show. AIWIY->Streets, a la Slane Castle, was pretty good, but I'm still not a big fan of his voice at the time... even though that moment on the Slane DVD was the best in the tour for Bono, it still sounded flat, boring, emotionless, and dull. *shivers*

if emotion had a sound, that intro at Slane would be what it sounded like. Crazy to say theres no emotion there. It's all emotion
