1. Really? There is nothing on U2.com which surprises me.
  2. Yeah I saw that on a Rolling Stones fansite, tragic news.I always remember him being really fascinating on U2 360 Rose Bowl documentary. RIP

  3. Well, I think we can all agree on U2.com not being the most updated source of news...
  4. 'He Made The Impossible Possible.'

The Edge has been speaking about the passing of Mark Fisher, groundbreaking stage designer, architect and friend of the band who worked with them for more than twenty years.

'Mark Fisher's vision and genius was his ability to translate dreams into reality. With his talent and passion, he created designs which never failed to push every concept to the absolute limit. He made the impossible possible. And it always looked beautiful.

'Mark was a dearly beloved member of the U2 family and we shall all miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.'

Interesting. If album might be 'weeks from completion', why are they leaving Electric Lady? Another studio or more writing sessions?

BTW - Adams fiance? Didn't he say he's no more in a relationship with mother of his child?
  10. I'm thinking they're finished and now they're taking the summer off to mull it over for a couple months. Maybe at the end of the summer they'll go back into the studio and fix anything they take issue with, but while releasing a finished single to tide people over.
  11. Pressing the albums and getting the copies spread all over the world's stores takes some time. If they have anything to fix or improve it will be done more than 2 months prior to the release date I reckon.
