    Wow, this is incredible. Way above expectations. Still not huge on Heart of a Girl and From Here On Out, but wow guys.

    after 2 listens, i've decided it's better than Day & Age but not as good as the first two classics.

    that could all change in the coming weeks though, and either way they've come up with a belter this time around.

    Very good album. Was looking forward to this and Muse in the next couple of weeks until we get a new U2 album.

    Personally, and this is just me, but I think this might be their best. To quote someone on /mu/, "It's like Hot Fuss grew big boy pants, and donned a classic rock haircut.". It sounds like a combo of all of the synthy elements of Hot Fuss and the anthem heavy Sam's Town.
    ^ valid point, it does seem like a consolidation of all the different spins they've put on their sound so far.

    Prize Fighter and Carry Me Home are highlights too, shoulda put one or both of them on the record in place of The Rising Tide.
    I'm buying a The Victims membership ASAP. Like, I refuse to miss out on the chance to see The Killers live.

    Understandable. I'm seeing them on fucking Friday at a festival (they get a 90 mins slot, not bad) and I wouldn't exchange this chance for a million bucks! And sure I'll be there whenever they annouce a show in town (or in Dublin, if it happens when I'm living there). No way I miss them on their proper tour!
