I recently bought a live concert DVD and was looking to audio rip it. I struck a problem! when i ripped it i noticed that the sound was really distorted. i checked the back of the DVD and the only audio format on the dvd is 5.1 dolby digital and doesn't have the stereo option. can anyone help me please??? is there a way i can audio rip it to 2 channels with un-distorted sound. i really don't know what the problem is
try to rip the dvd on your computer with "dvd decrypter".
- install dvd decrypter
-in dvd decrypter : -change the mode to IFO
-go to tools\settings\ IFO Mode
-set the file splitting option to "none"
now you can rip the dvd in one file on your pc ( just quit settings and click on the large button in the main window).
then you can convert the dvd video file into mp3 or something by using "SUPER Converter" ( you can choose from whatever sound option you want) from eRight Soft or some other programme
