For those that want to torture their ears...4 clips that are supposed to be from the new album.
The most complete and radical U2 album

Clip 1: No Line on the horizon? / Lanois clip
Clip 2: Walk Out Into the Streets? / Mercy references?
Clip 3: The one we've had in the Last Larry and in Edge's back videos from U2.com?/Sexy boots?
Clip4: Love is all we've left?

happy days. Can't download now but how do they stack up in quality to the 2006 clips (also recorded from a mobile phone)

I shall give them a whirl. late. Never much good though. Nice to hear something and the music will be more or less completed. Previous beach tapes have been 'work in progress' jobs.

No. My expectations were low and I learned years ago to never ever trust any U2 pre-album talk. Did anyone really expect a radical change?

Also, it's hard to judge the songs from these clips, it's only 4 clips, noone knows if they make it on the album, etc.

No need to be disappointed.

Yes, especially when Bono describes the sound of the new album, eh ? *lol*.

However I am not long enough a fan to completely comprehend some fan's rather negative reactions towards HTDAAB eg, and also some negative epectations towards the new album. I'm just damn excited yet.

Are these the same ones that have been on Interference for awhile?

The third clip is awesome sounding - it's a very catchy tune, in the same vein of All Because of You.

What's the first clip - a bit of classical violin or something (at 3.00)?
