1. I'm busy with downloading some U2 gigs and I just finished part I of the Globen Zoo TV Soundboard. Then I wanted to downloaded part II but RS says I'm already downloading a file... but I'm not!

You're premium? Try again...or otherwise delete your cookies and log-in to RS again. It's just RS probably...
  3. No, not premium
  4. Just try again in a few hours, or try cleaning up your cookies or temp. files.

Another explanation can be that you're behind a proxy and someone else is downloading with your IP address.

"Our counters evaluate IP addresses. When the messages "Download limit exceeded" or "Loading" appears without you downloading at that point in time, it is likely that you are calling RapidShare via a so-called proxy server whose IP address is also being used by other users. The allocation of proxy servers is automatically carried out by your internet service provider. In order to resolve this problem, you have to deactivate the proxy server."

Also make sure cookies are enabled.

Lots of info on the Rapidshare site, they also have a support staff:

They can help you better than we do

    couldnt say it better myself...
  6. Thanks guys, will look around and try some things

  7. Sounds like the problems I sometimes have. I think RS must have some kind of subversive system to piss off free users so much that they get a Premium membership. I used to be able to DL without any problems (other than the wait between files that free users put up with) but now, there are a lot of files that just don't DL, whatever I try. You may find that you'll not actually be able to DL that file, whether you wait a couple of days or what, and it's probably due to RS being arsish. Tis why I usually stick to Mediafire and MegaUpload whenever possible, and only bother with RS if a boot is available via. 1 DL alone (JT shows are great for that )...
  8. well it's not only with that file, it counts for all the files and I just removed the cookies, no result.

  9. depending on your router/modem you can reset it to get a new IP. Only works with dynamic IP addresses though so if you have a static one just read on for somebody elses suggestion.
