    It's not even a great broadcast . . .

took a listen to NYD and a few other songs from this show today. You're right, the sound quality on this is pretty bad for a broadcast.
  2. Im glad I didnt offer to eat my hat yesterday. Brilliant gig, legend? Not for me

Interesting. It kind of looks like they just set the stage up in the middle of an open field.

The view from the Hill at the Robbie Willliams Concert 2 years ago, gives you some perspective of how the set up is for a show @ Roundhay Park.......

  4. NYD is not that outstandig imo. Last Night and Discotheque however

    and Miami ofcourse. Blown away!

  5. didn't mean it was the best version of new yrs day ever! -just the best i've heard on the popmart tour
  6. i think this could really be their best gig ever.

'goodnight, God bless ya. fuck off!'

    up there definitely
  8. It's very very good indeed, full of energy and some sparkling performances but... best of their career? That's too much for sure.
  9. anyone who's got the picture of Bono flipping the bird onstage as he says the famous words "Pump it up George!"?

i believe i saw it in a fanzine (Collectormania maybe?) years ago, and it appears it was taken from a newspaper cutting (the picture was b/w).

    thanks!
  10. the bird? you mean the middle finger? saw a photo of that 2 years ago on here, but couldn't find it ever since
  11. I love how LOUD this bootleg is. The recording/broadcast is soo "noisy" thatI I think it feels like you're actually at a show more than other pro-shots.
