Do you think it will ever be releeased on a dvd with the glasses . We went to see it in cinema was awesome , brought the memories back from the dublin gig . Would like to think it will be at some stage ... especially with the technology in home cinema systems ... would be class
U2 have publicly stated that they will not release the film on DVD/whatever form of home technology until TV's themselves can show 3D images. Rather they are wishing that the movie gets re-released often in IMAX/3D cinemas worldwide.
However hope is at hand! 3ality who is the 3D firm that filmed/financed/made U23D have said that there is a prototype TV being shown at the moment that can show 3D at home so it may be closer than you think!
