  4. Hello !

I've moved from Mac to Linux (Mint). And I still haven't found an equivalent to xAct ( http://xact.scottcbrown.org/ ).

Does anyone know if a software exist in linux world for the conversion job (wav > flac, mp3, etc.) in high quality (ie. torrent purpose) ?

xAct was a perfect application for that (and tagging, audio cd extracting, etc.)

    Thanks for your help !

If you're comfortable with the CLI, ffmpeg is excellent.

I generally use EasyTag or MusicBrainz Picard for tagging.
