1. From now on U2start will also be available in the Portuguese language. Portuguese is one of the world's major languages with the number of native speakers estimated between 191 and 230 million. It is spoken officially in Brazil, Portugal and countries of Africa and Asia.

The translation is fully done by Cristiano Godinho (member kristbg), for which we are very grateful. You can view U2start in Portuguese by browsing to http://pt.u2start.com or by selecting the "Portuguese" language on top of the website or in your preferences.

Thank you, and welcome to all of you speaking Portuguese!
  2. Great, watching 5 flags was weird, it's better with 6, more geometrical

Thanks to the translater, welcome to the club
  3. Looking at our twitter replies the dudes from Brazil and other countries are very happy with this.

All this great U2 stuff should be accessible everywhere!
  4. You're welcome!

Consider it my way of saying thanks for providing about 99% of my bootleg collection
  5. Thanks a lot!

Btw you should have the Portuguese flag not the Brazilian one.
  6. as my former boss from lisbon would say, Cheers , think i'll keep it in english though

  7. Well strange thing is, the flag-set I use, doesn't have a Portuguese flag. So if someone can make me a Portuguese flag exactly in the same style as the flags already, that's welcome. If not, we will keep it to Brazil

  8. Indeed.

Being Brazilian myself, I won't mind keeping it as it is, though
  9. Intelligent. I think it's the same reason why I don't watch U2start in Dutch or French...
  10. Remy I think you understand why I said that. I'm a Portuguese and our language is one of the few things that makes me proud of living in this small piece of land.

I'll also keep it in English cause it's always a way of keeping the langauge fresh in our mind.

Thanks again, I know a lot of people that will start using the site now.
