1. Reawakening this ol' sleeping dragon of a thread!

Started filling out my gear this year; got a Bugera V22 amp in May, finally got some nice valvey tone (I would heartily recommend as a first decent amp - pretty economical and nice warm tone that's proved pretty versatile in building up sounds).

Also got my hands on a Boss SD-1 Overdrive stomp box and last week bought a Boss ME-20 multi-effects pedal, decent little unit with a nice enough range of weird and wonderful patches that you can mess around with at one's leisure. Currently using the ME-20 as a compression / delay / Wah unit running into the SD-1 to provide big 'phwoar'-factor distortion and straight into the amp from there.

Still got the Epi LP and the Explorer, looking to get a new axe soon - thinking a proper Strat of some description, although my head has been turned by Sterling / Musicman stuff, feeling a bit of a Lukather coming on...!

    Vox AC30

    ESP EC-1000 w/ESP active pickups
    Fender American Telecaster
    Fender Japan Stratocaster (circa 1984)
    Tokai ES-335 w/P-Rail pickups
Agile 3200 w/ Filtertrons (Honest to God, as good as a Les Paul...)
  3. Didn't know this topic existed! My gear has totally changed throughout the years, but I've now built a foundation that can either exist on its own, but also allows for small additions over time.

    Guitar:
    -Fender Blacktop Stratocaster (HSH)

    Amp:
    -Fender Blues Jr. amplifier

    Effects:
    -Modtone Chromatic Tuner
    -Mad Professor Forest Green Compressor
    -Fulltone Fulldrive 2 MOSFET Overdrive/Boost
    -Way Huge Swollen Pickle Fuzz
    -MXR Micro Flanger
    -Digitech Timebender Delay
    -TC Ditto Looper

All on which are on a pedal train jr pedal board. Next thing I'd like is a reverb, possibly the Strymon Bluesky or the Earthquaker Afterneath.
  4. That Timebender always looked like a lot of fun to me.

Will any of this be producing "Balance, Part II" anytime soon?

  6. It's good. A lot of the "cool" stuff can be hard to find a good use for, but it's fun to play around with nonetheless. It's also a really stand-up delay pedal in its own right!

Maybe not Balance But I am working on an EP right now. Three songs, will definitely post when it comes out, but it may be a while!
