  1. Ok so I'm really bored and I thought of this a while ago. Basically you pick one small thing that you love about U2 and something else you hate about U2. Small meaning that you can't pick The Joshua Tree as something you love about them because that is pretty big I'll give my choices as examples.

    Love: That Larry still mainly has his Dublin accent

    Hate: The extra beat at the beginning of Wild Honey

    Note: I have looked for a topic like this so if there is one that I haven't seen I apologize and vow not create a topic for a long while
  2. Love the little 'elements' of sound in the 90s tracks like the fantastic organ on Love Is Blindness.

    Hate the album covers they started doing in the 00s.
  3. Love: The way The Edge cocks his head introspectively while playing some guitar parts- this can be seen several times during "Until the End of the World" on the Slane DVD, during the "ate the food, drank the wine" style parts

    Hate: Adam's style on the 360 Tour. Thought he looked awesome on the Vertigo Tour, and even a little bit more "chill" on Elevation, but I don't know what the hell he's doing these days.

    Hate : That one day it will all be over and people will be looking back at that irish band in books or dvd's

  6. I mean I don't hate Adam, and his bass playing on this tour is by far the most amazing and original it's EVER been, in my opinion, I just have to stop and ask myself sometimes...what is he wearing? The thing that gets me the most is that vest-y thing he's had on.

    Quite the contrary, however, 360 Edge has been my favorite style of his since PopMart
  7. Love: When Bono's turns around in exitement at the start of I Will Follow on the Under a Blood Red Sky DVD

    Hate: That the New York album version isn't half as good as the live one.

    oh oh oh stop, I thought you mean his bass playing style!!! I agree on the clothes he wears sometimes, I sometimes feel myself embarrased when I show pictures of the tour to my friends. I know what you mean! I simply misunderstood you

    His playing on this tour has been arguably his best yet
  10. Love: How my love for music and black&white photography came together in the eighties through U2 and Anton Corbijn, and how this combination is still going strong!


    Hate: How I always get excited when they release a live DVD, then watch it once and decide it's not half as good as being at a live show, and then letting the DVD gather dust between all the other dusty-live-DVD's.
  11. Love Edge's guitar part on Yahweh, particularly the chorus (it's fresh in my mind 'cause I was listening to Atomic Bomb yesterday).

    Hate They haven't played Wild Horses on this tour.
  12. Love: the home videos that they have been putting out, rather than doctor notices or whatever else a really rich band might put out to deal with a tour leg cancellation.

    Hate: The smoking that Bono started doing a while back... not really because of the voice, but because his car probably smelled like crap when he smoked. (I'm pretty anal about those things)
