Across the board here in Dublin at least. A lot of Irish brands coming up and specialist gin menus in pubs. I can't tell much of a difference between them after a couple but they're a fantastic drink, little to no hangover.

On the Cab Sav tonight, halfway through the bottle now, glad to not be out in the cold.
  2. Gin is in. Have only sampled a few of the big name brands but this no hangover thing intrigues me. Guinness is starting to hurt like a bastard the morning after.

Same trend it seems, just a few years later. They've gone a little over the top around here, adding so many ingredients to the gin that it looks like a vegetable soup

I thought it was a fluke for a while but a heavy night for New Years on nothing but Bombay Sapphire and I was as fresh as anything. My money is on the tonic water but I'm sure it'll bite back at some stage.

Guinness definitely hits you the next day, but can be very easy to drink. God I remember writing in here and I couldn't stomach it at all. Finally living up to the stereotype.

    Amsterdam Ger, yes?

Going that way very quickly here.

Confirmed. Tickets in my inbox and flights are booked.
  7. I've the Saturday ticket and AirBnB sorted for the weekend. Payday Tuesday for the flights. Looking forward to it.

Very much so. We shall link in closer to the time.
  9. Definitely.

A small Drambuie before bed. Dreadfully sweet after one measure.

Guinness tastes bad until you get used to it. And even when you're used to it, some variations still taste too metallic and harsh for the first sips. It gets amazingly better shortly after though.

It will be good to see you again
  12. Drunk in a Krakow vodka bar. Nice place but a shame about the smog
